It’s a Landscape!

As I mentioned on social media, I honestly thought I was finished with landscapes! Here’s a piece I started a few months ago, 80x80cm, acrylic on panel. Unless it finds a home beforehand, it’s off to Fresh Art Fair at Ascot during September.

Fresh Art Fair, Cheltenham

June 10-12th 2022, some of my work will be part of the Fresh Art Fair show, with Lime Tree Gallery, at Cheltenham Racecourse. More info can be found here

Meanwhile, here’s an almost finished 40x30cm piece, Oil on panel. I started this about 10 months ago, it sat in my studio for ages, until yesterday when I radically changed the foreground. Feeling much better about it now.

Dear Newsletter readers, it’s been so long! I hope you’re all keeping well 🙂

I’m reviving my newsletter after almost a years break. My schedule is slightly less hectic, and I hope to create fairly regular posts going froward.

In other news, I’m delighted to be part of the ‘Our House’ exhibition, at Lime Tree Gallery, Bristol, starting on the 7th April. More info can be found here A few of my pieces will be on show, including the still life painting attached. ‘Rose, Bottle, Books’, 60×45 cm, Oil on panel – SOLD.

Best regards, Ollie.

Taking a break…

I’m going to take a break from this blog for a while. Before I do, I want to say a huge thank you to the kind people who follow me here, who have taken the time to comment on my work, and indeed in many instances have been generous enough to buy my work.

I still have two jobs, and sadly I just don’t have time to properly keep this section going. This week was especially stressful, far too many things were happening at once, and I knew something had to give – I can’t do everything 🙁

When I finally retire from digital work, maybe I’ll be able to re-instate the blog. Thank you all again for reading and watching. I’ll still be posting on Instagram from time to time …
